Membership Engagement & Events Committee
The Membership Engagement & Events Committee is responsible for strengthening the association through member engagement, recruitment, and retention. This committee develops strategies to attract new members, enhance the value of membership, and foster meaningful connections within the organization. In addition, the committee plans and supports association events—such as networking gatherings, educational programs, and special activities—that promote member involvement and showcase the association’s mission. Members of this committee work collaboratively to create welcoming experiences, increase participation, and ensure that both membership initiatives and events align with the association’s goals.
Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee monitors local, state, and national issues that impact our industry and membership. The committee works to educate members on legislative and regulatory matters, develops positions on key policy issues, and engages with elected officials and community leaders to promote the interests of the association. By staying informed and proactive, the Advocacy Committee ensures that our members have a strong voice in shaping policies that affect their businesses and the broader community.
Communication & Marketing Committee
The Communication & Marketing Committee develops and implements strategies to effectively share the association’s message with members, partners, and the public. The committee oversees branding, social media, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging communication. By promoting events, initiatives, and member achievements, the committee strengthens the association’s visibility, supports membership growth, and enhances the organization’s overall image.
Workforce & Education Committee
The Workforce & Education Committee focuses on developing a skilled, knowledgeable, and sustainable workforce to support the industry’s long-term growth. The committee identifies workforce needs, promotes career opportunities within the trade, and partners with schools, training programs, and community organizations to encourage education and skill development. Through initiatives such as job fairs, internships, scholarships, and continuing education programs, the committee works to attract new talent, support member education, and advance professional development across the industry.
Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee strengthens the association’s connection with the community by leading service projects, partnerships, and engagement initiatives. The committee identifies opportunities to give back, promotes volunteerism among members, and organizes activities that highlight the association’s commitment to social responsibility.
