Season's Greetings from AHBA

Dear AHBA Members:

As we come to the end of 2020 (thank goodness) I want to thank those of you who have continued to support the AHBA despite the association having offered minimal events and educational opportunities this year. I am pleased to report that very few members dropped their membership and we gained several new members in 2020.

The Board of Directors voted to keep the same Officers and Members in place for 2021 and allow them to have a “do over” year. As President, I had many ideas and plans for 2020 that we were not able to execute, so I appreciate the opportunity to have a second year to lead the association.

Some of the plans for 2021 include bringing back evening membership meetings several times throughout the year. We will continue the Lunch n Learn series, which have proven to be beneficial for the membership. We will of course host our Spring and Fall Golf outing and may add a mid-summer outing as well. We are looking into ideas as to how we can host a Home + Garden Show later in the year as we have canceled the February show due to Covid concerns. We look forward to an in-person Parade of Homes, June 9-13, 2021! There are many other ideas in consideration, but we wanted to give you sneak peek in to what we are thinking as well as thank you for your membership.

If you have any questions or thoughts, please email or call me. Thank you!

All my best to you this holiday season.
