A Message from the ABHA President

Dear AHBA Members – What a strange several weeks we have all had! Covid -19 has certainly changed the way we do business and lead our everyday lives. We want you to know the Ames Home Builders Association is here to support and assist you through these unprecedented times and help you get back to “normal” business. From an Association view, we wanted to update you on several events that were planned for this time of year. The CPR training, we had scheduled for April, as well as the evening Membership Meeting have both been postponed until it is safe to gather together. We have moved the date of the Spring Golf Outing to June 19. It will still be held at Coldwater Golf Links and we are excited to have you register your teams and sponsorships. You may go to: https://ames-home-builders.perfectgolfevent.com/ and register today. We have postponed the 2020 Parade of Homes to the Fall. The POH Committee and Board are working with the Builders to determine the best dates for the show and we hope to announce the dates soon. The health and safety of our members and the public is of the utmost importance and postponing the show is the best decision for this. Please watch the AHBA website, www.ameshomebuilders.com, as well as your email for updates on the POH. As soon as we feel it is safe, we will continue our Lunch n Learn events as well as AHBA social gatherings. We continue to send dues renewals and appreciate those who have returned their renewal and payment promptly. For those members who may need more time or payment options, please contact Stacy or myself and we will work something out. We don’t want to lose members during this time.
