About Ames HBA
Building A Solid Future for the Residents of Story County.
The Ames Home Builders Association is committed to helping make Ames and surrounding communities better places to live, work, and raise families. We are a nonprofit trade association affiliated with the Iowa Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). At all levels, the goal of the Association is to provide safe, decent, affordable housing for America's citizens.
Ames HBA currently has more than 150 members. There are two categories of membership: Builder Members and Associate Members. Builder members are home builders, residential and light commercial remodelers, and developers. Associate members are companies related to the residential construction industry subcontractors, suppliers, financial institutions, title companies, appraisers, utilities, and real estate agencies. We encourage anyone interested in the housing industry to join (link to membership page) the Ames HBA.
